How to Give the Gift of Porn
|
|
Dear Friend,
Yes, it’s December again and the holiday season is upon us. Are you as excited as we are at trying to find the perfect gift for the lover in your life?
Think about it. Those lovely cashmere sweaters and leather gloves are great, but it’s always nice to have something wrapped up special. It’s time to defy expectations and celebrate the sexy side of your life. The kind of gift you don’t want to bring out in front of the family but really is special, just for you, just between the two of you.
Get creative! We at Fatale offer themed gift packages that we wrap up beautifully and add personalized gift cards to so you don’t have to do all the work. Add a personal touch with a handwritten love letter, photograph or handmade card that expresses your sentiments.
Hide the present until you’re ready to give it, then slip it onto her pillow just before she gets ready for bed. Or surprise her first thing in the morning before she’s really awake. Bring it on a tray with her morning coffee and spend an extra hour in bed. You won’t regret it.
For singles, this can be a difficult time of year, but we’ve found that there’s no reason why you can’t buy a present just for yourself. Besides, who’s gonna know? Give yourself permission. You deserve it, after all.
If giving a porn video or DVD is something you’ve never done before, and you’re not sure how it will be received, we recommend you pair porn with some other sexy luxury...silk boxer shorts, a travel-sized vibrator or lacy camisole.
You can't go wrong with lingerie. Here’s a great site we found that ships worldwide and has hundreds of cool brands for women and men: www.figleaves.com. Check them out!
We gave our neighbors a fabulous tin of edible Tantra goodies from the Pleasure Chest for their wedding. We tucked in a copy of Bend Over Boyfriend. Even though these newlyweds are in their early 20s, we took a chance they’d like to experiment a little bit. We just crossed our fingers that the present was wrapped up tight enough that Mom and Grandma wouldn’t peek inside.
Happy Holidays!

Last month we wrote about Sex Music etiquette and invited you to tell us your Top 5 Favorite Sex Music artist, song or CD.
Well, you told us! Our favorite, Marvin Gaye, comes in #10 in our survey results. Yes, we thought we’d give you the Top 10 instead of just the Top 5.
Here are your favorite sexy musicians...tabulated with a couple ties toward the end:
1. Annie Lennox
2. Barry White
3. Seal
4. Carmel
5. Luther Vandross
6. Anita Baker
7. Lou Rawls
8. Squeeze [tie]
9. Prince [tie]
10. Marvin Gaye
One reader wrote about Annie Lennox that “most of her songs aren’t particularly sexy but the way she sings them is!”
And for all you fans of Allie McBeal, Barry White’s your man. White died last year, July 2003, and you can read his BBC obit here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/music/2386227.stm
AllMusic.com has a “browse by mood” area...including Sexy, Sensual, Sleazy, Hedonistic and many, many more. They have James Brown on their “Sexy” list, so check it out! Not to rub it in, but Marvin Gaye is right up there too!
More sex tips next month!

Many of you know g-spot expert Deborah Sundahl as Fanny Fatale. In “Ask Fanny,” an exclusive column created just for this newsletter, she answers your questions about female ejaculation and the G-spot.
Dear Fanny,
My wife's medication limits her ability to get to that point of ejaculation. What do you suggest?
A Reader in California
..............................................
Dear Reader in California,
I'm assuming from your question that your wife has ejaculated before she began the medication she is currently on. I'm also assuming that you know it's the medication because all was fine beforehand, and that nothing has changed in your relationship. I'd like to know what medication she is taking, because there is basically no professional medical research done on medication’s effects on female ejaculation, so at this point in time, sharing personal experiences is all the public has to go on.
Please write back and share your insight with me, or preferably with the G-Spot chat group. This Internet chat group's subject is all about the G-spot and female ejaculation. The chat group is hosted by Dr. John Perry (http://www.DrGSpot.net), co-author and co-researcher of the book that made the word “G-spot” a household term. Incidentally, Dr. Perry’s book, The G-Spot, first released in 1982, has been updated and will be reissued this January, 2005.
Signing up for the chat group is easy; just go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TheGSpot/ and sign up, then submit your experiences and question. There are sexologists as well as serious students of female ejaculation who will be greatly interested in your question and experiences and have valuable insight and discussion to offer you.
Meanwhile, few doctors know about female ejaculation, so you may be wondering how to broach the subject with them. Be prepared to be put off and have the question sidestepped. If this is the case, ask your doctor if he has read John Perry’s book The G-spot or my book, Female Ejaculation and the G-Spot. Make a serious request that he do so and ask him to bring up the issue with his colleagues.
Dr. Gary Schubach, Ed.D., A.C.S., one of the sexologists who monitors the G-spot chat group, is a staunch advocate for medical education regarding the G-spot and female ejaculation. He states, "The medical ‘authority,’ which should be read by all doctors and urological medical personnel, is The Human Female Prostate by Milan Zaviacic M.D." Dr. Zaviacic's monograph (the academic name for research published in book form) can be purchased as an ebook at http://www.doctorg.com/EB-prostate.htm#order.
Dr. Zaviacic studied the female prostate down to its cellular level for twenty years. Because of his work, the medical profession's anatomy-naming trade journal, Histology Today, finally declared in 1999 that the “female prostate” is indeed a fully functioning female organ. This has put to rest the debate about its existence—all women have a female prostate (G-spot) just as all men do.
It is imperative that the medical community learn about and incorporate into their practice this important information on the female prostate and female ejaculation. Too many surgeries have been performed on the female prostate (the G-spot) without any knowledge that it even exists!
This is a serious situation, and one that can be changed by a groundswell of patients telling their doctors about their experiences with female ejaculation, and requesting their doctors’ assistance with their problem or asking for a referral to someone who can help.
I wish I could answer your question, but without knowing what medication your wife is using, and without knowing more about your history as a couple with female ejaculation, I can only recommend you try to speak with your doctor. I hope to see your question on the G-spot chat group!
Fanny

In each issue of Fatale News, we want to hear your ideas, opinions, comments.
This month, we received a provocative note from Dee in Virginia, who wrote:
“Things that made me go ‘Hmm...’ Would be curious to see something with an ethnic flavor... Latin. Island. Chocolate ...Vanilla ... It's all good... Keep up the good work...”
Well, Dee, there’s a lot of “ethnic flavor” out there in the land of lesbian porn, in that the casts are a diverse lot with their own sensuality and lusty flair.
Here are our recommendations from the Fatale selection:
Safe Is Desire is, we feel, underrated. High production values, good cast and script, it’s got your “chocolate/vanilla” dream with a sexy sex scene at a local San Francisco sex club. Is the notion of safe sex for women dated? We don’t think so, not with the burgeoning AIDS epidemic sweeping the world over. These dykes are hot!
Many people don’t realize that Raven, the star of Take Her Down! Lesbian Erotic Oil Wrestling Party, is a petite, feisty Hispanic femme from Albuquerque, New Mexico, who lives with her costar and real-life lover and their two children in American’s great Southwest. Raven takes special pleasure in strapping it on with her lover, appropriately named Butch. Nothing like a touch of role reversal to open up possibilities.
One of our all-time favorite flicks is Afterschool Special...a delightful mix of body shapes, colors and proclivities. Ms. Hussy, the director and writer, mines the campuses of Massachusetts to set this schoolgirl role-play aflame. Check her out.
Island. Yes, we agree with you on this count. Anybody know any real lesbian porn with an Island flair? Hawaiian, Caribbean, other? Write to us and tell us what you’ve found. We wanna know!
Next month: More on butch/femme and real lesbian porn. Plus, Fatale celebrates its 20th Anniversary!
Happy Holidays!
