U.S. High Court Victory for Free Speech...and Porn
|
|
Dear Friend,
On Tuesday the United States Supreme Court ruled that silencing online pornographers is illegal under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees the right to free speech. This is a victory for pornographers in this country, including Fatale.
It is also a victory for those of us who enjoy watching porn and prefer to browse online for something that grabs our fancy.
We’re not done with this issue, unfortunately. The Supreme Court has sent the case back to the federal appeals court in Philadelphia for a rehearing, but the Bush Administration has lost this round once again. This is the second time the conservative Supreme Court has rejected the principals behind the act as infringing on the right to free speech in this country.
The Child Online Protection Act was signed in 1998 by then President Bill Clinton and championed ever since by George W. Bush. It has never taken effect, challenged by the ACLU and other free-speech activists.
Health-care sites such as WebMD and others would also have been restricted in providing sex education, and forget about sex tips! This law would say bar them, lest a child stumble upon them.
We believe children are more resilient than most lawmakers would have you think. They are also more intelligent and grown-up than they used to be. A law passed in the U.S. does not preclude sites hosted in other countries to be seen by children. If kids really want to know about sex and look at sexy pictures, they’ll find sites hosted elsewhere.
Still, we applaud the Supreme Court for acknowledging that materials suitable for adults should be allowed to remain online. It’s about time the U.S. stops trying to dictate the terms and conditions of Internet fare and realize we live in a global universe now.
Yours in good sex and love,
Nan & Christi

Summertime is here in the northern hemisphere, and what better way to feel absolutely sexy and gorgeous than to shave that pussy clean, throw on a g-string and head outside. Okay, maybe not all the butches in the crowd are so hip to this idea, but for the femmes among us, there’s nothing like a tiny thong under a strappy summer dress.
Waxing does the trick too, but it’s not nearly as sexy as having your partner whip out a razor.
Shaving requires an act of complete and utter trust between partners, too. It’s a great way to build trust, or to take the trust you have to another level.
About razors: Unless you have extensive experience with a straight razor, we recommend you use a safety razor. Yes, those are the little plastic ones you can buy at the drugstore by the dozen. Select a brand you’re familiar with or have used before. In our opinion, electric razors lack the romantic quality we’re going for here, but you can use one if you want to, just don’t use any oil or soap or shaving cream.
Trim your pubic hair before the shave. This can be part of the romantic prelude to the actual shaving, or the shavee can do it herself ahead of time. You’ll be glad you did.
We talked with Deborah Sundahl, who’s on vacation now, but she offered these tips for shaving pussy:
- Use oil instead of soap or shaving cream. Deborah recommends olive oil, avocado oil or almond oil. Yum!
- Don’t wear underpants after you shave. Wait at least 24 hours. She says, “I’d throw on a skirt with no underpants...now that’s sexy! Give that pussy some air!”
And as we know from the Fab 5 on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, shave in the direction of the hair growth. You don’t want to have to contend with razor bumps down there.
For those of you who wonder about the hygiene of shaving pussy, the ancient Taoists believed that shaving was more hygienic, since bacteria could grow there. Nowadays some folks think a hairless pussy could foster bacterial growth. That is not our experience, but check with your doctor if in doubt.
The Taoists also rubbed the vagina and mons with essential oils infused with herbal extracts—this was to keep the vagina plump and moist.

Now, open wide and enjoy those cool summer breezes!

Turn Me Up Over and On is a Hit!
Smut magazine, a hot little number out of Canada and on newsstands now, writes in a stellar review: “Turn Me Up Over and On is so hot, it sizzles....The story flows gently from one orgasm to the next, never pausing, relentlessly moving through a rhythm of sex, lust and, indeed, love....Ava and Luke are hot, they love their job as sex goddesses, and it shows.”
On Our Backs has a knockout review in which Greta Christina writes: “It’s a half-hour porno tape of two lesbians having themselves some lesbian sex. And it’s grand! Beautiful, giddy, arousing....Bottom line: simple and superb.”
