Wild About BOB – Your Letters

Friday, January 14th, 2011

We don’t publish all the notes we receive, but every now and then we ask for (and usually receive) permission to reprint a letter. Here’s one we loved:

Dear Christi and Fatale Team,

This “Bend Over Boyfriend” dvd is SO FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s like the BEST educational video I’ve ever seen!!! God, we’re gonna have fun with that now!!! You girls are geniuses!!

Thank you thank you thank you SO much for bringing this knowledge out to the straight/bi/whatever masses. The world is in deep deprivation of anal pleasure and play, and I utterly pity people who haven’t given it a serious thought yet. In the name of both my male and female lovers (and of course in mine too), I deeply want to underline the pertinence and value of this video.

And on these good words, I’ll return to bed with the Saran Wrap roll in my hand, where some cute stud is still dozing ^.^

–Emilie M., from Montreal, Canada

Thanks, Emilie! Glad you like it.

Happy Spring!

Happy Passover!

Happy Easter!

Happy Springtime!

No matter where you are in the world, no matter if you celebrate holidays or not, we hope you are happy and reveling in the change of season.

Interesting comment from Stacey on last month’s Fatale blog post “Let’s Pretend to Be Lesbians”:

“Not to mention, Jones New York is one of the worst ranked (at least by HRC) places for LGBT folks to work.”

In our opinion, any self-respecting LGBT would have fought tooth and nail against this dumb-ass image.

Okay, rant over.

We’re looking forward to having Deb Sundahl visit for Easter and a few days more, now that she’s back from her European workshops and lecture tour. We’ll get more Ask Fanny columns for sure!

If you have questions about female ejaculation, you can e-mail askfanny@fatalemedia.com. Please put “Ask Fanny question” in the subject line.

Happy Spring. Happy April.

Yours in good love and sex,

Nan & Christi

Your Letters

Thanks to a reader for this comment to “Skirts and Strapons”:

“Surely you’re not suggesting Marlene Dietrich was straight?”

Okay, point well taken. (Bashful gulp.)

Constance McMillanNext up, thanks to our friend Chuck for sending along the news of yet another GLBT high-school student who’s been ragged on. But this time the ACLU is coming to the rescue.  We were saddened to see that the teen’s Jackson, Mississippi, high school cancelled its senior prom because 18-year-old Constance McMillen, a lesbian, wanted to not only take her girlfriend, a student at the same school, but also to wear a tux. What’s wrong with a tux? Geez.

Apparently wearing a tux violates school policy. In 2010?! They can’t be serious. But they are. The ACLU has filed a suit on McMillen’s behalf to have the school reinstate the senior prom. According to the AP report, “Lesbian Teen Sues to Force School to Hold Prom,” a fellow student said to McMillan, “Thanks for ruining my senior year.”

Lastly, thanks to our friend Ruth for sending along this op-ed by none other than the venerable Desmond Tutu, the Nobel Prize-winning peace activist, about gays and lesbians: “Love all God’s children, gay or straight.”

Snip: “Hate has no place in the house of God. No one should be excluded from our love, our compassion or our concern because of race or gender, faith or ethnicity — or because of their sexual orientation.”

The Washington Post (www.washingtonpost.com) is not very user friendly, and you’ll have to sign in, but you can sign in using your Facebook account to access the article. Well worth the read. Thanks, Ruth.
