The United States Supreme Court today begins to hear arguments about the first of two cases about gay marriage. There are swarms of people who came out to try to get the coveted seats inside the Supreme Court. This may be one of the most important cases the Court has heard in quite some time, certainly when it comes to so-called “social issues.”
We are following the NYT blog “The Lede” and SCOTUSblog for updates and will listen to live coverage once the transcripts are released.
We applaud the #Prop8 plaintiffs, Kris Perry and Sandy Stier, and it is with pride we follow these hearings at the Supreme Court.
